0.3617 troy oz .900 1920 Brilliant Unc

In 1920, the United States issued a special commemorative half dollar marking three centuries since a historic transatlantic voyage. Crafted from 90 percent silver, this coin contains 0.3617 troy ounces of precious metal and features a design by Cyrus Dallin that captures the spirit of early American settlers. The obverse side of the coin portrays William Bradford, the governor of the Plymouth colony, holding a Bible under his arm. Behind him, the legendary ship Mayflower is depicted under sail. The inscriptions on this side include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "PILGRIM HALF DOLLAR." On the reverse, the Mayflower is shown navigating the ocean waves. This vessel famously went off its planned course, ultimately landing the passengers at Plymouth Rock. The reverse design is accompanied by the dates 1620 and 1920, representing the tercentenary milestone.
