The 1921 Lincoln cent stands as a classic representative of early twentieth century American coinage. Struck in copper at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin belongs to the celebrated Lincoln Cent series. It is preserved in an impressive Almost Uncirculated state, retaining much of its original detail and luster from the era following the First World War. On the obverse, the coin displays the familiar right-facing profile of Abraham Lincoln, a design created by Victor David Brenner. This side also bears the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and the date 1921, alongside the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse of the coin is characterized by two stylized wheat ears flanking the central denomination.
