0.0000 troy oz 1924 Almost Unc

The 1924 Lincoln cent struck at the Denver Mint represents a classic era of American bronze coinage. This piece, preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, highlights the detailed artistry of Victor David Brenner. The obverse features the familiar profile of Abraham Lincoln, facing right, accompanied by the inscriptions of national identity and liberty. The Denver origin is clearly marked by the small 'D' mint mark beneath the date. On the reverse, the coin displays a simple yet elegant composition of two stylized stalks of wheat framing the denomination. The inscriptions 'ONE CENT' and 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA' are prominently featured. This design, which began in 1909, remains one of the most recognizable and longest-running motifs in the history of United States coinage.
