0.0000 troy oz 1924 Very Fine

The 1924 Lincoln cent struck at the Denver Mint represents a classic era of American bronze coinage. This copper one-cent piece, preserved in Very Fine details, showcases a design that has become one of the most recognizable in the world. On the obverse, the profile of Abraham Lincoln faces right, a portrait created by Victor David Brenner. The legendary motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" arches above his image, while the word "LIBERTY" stands to his left, and the date 1924 is positioned to his right. Below the date, the "D" mint mark indicates its origin from the Denver facility. The reverse of the coin features a simple yet elegant frame consisting of two stalks of wheat. These wheat ears flank the central inscriptions of the denomination, "ONE CENT", and the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". The Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is inscribed along the top rim, completing a design that defined American pocket change for generations.
