The 1927 Lincoln Cent represents a classic era of American pocket change. Struck in copper at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin has survived in Almost Uncirculated condition, retaining much of the sharp detail from the day it was made. On the obverse, the profile of Abraham Lincoln faces right, a design created by Victor David Brenner. The legendary mottoes IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY are clearly legible alongside the 1927 date. The reverse features the traditional design of two stylized wheat ears framing the denomination. The inscriptions ONE CENT and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are boldly struck, showcasing the simple elegance that defined the nation's minor coinage during the early twentieth century.
