Struck in copper during the pre-1933 era, this 1927 Lincoln Cent is a fascinating survivor from the San Francisco Mint. It carries the distinct 'S' mint mark on its obverse, positioned just below the date. This issue represents a classic era of American pocket change, preserved in an Almost Uncirculated condition that allows its original design elements to remain remarkably clear. The obverse features the famous bust of Abraham Lincoln, facing right. Above his portrait, the reassuring motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' arches along the top rim, while the word 'LIBERTY' stands clearly to his left. On the reverse, the design showcases two stylized wheat ears framing the central denomination.
