The 1929 Lincoln Cent stands as a classic example of early twentieth-century American coinage. Struck in copper at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin has survived the decades in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, displaying the characteristic brown toning that copper naturally develops over time. On the obverse, the profile of Abraham Lincoln faces right. This side is inscribed with the words LIBERTY and the date 1929, accompanied by the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST, along the top rim.
