In 1930, the Denver Mint produced this classic copper cent, which survives today in an impressive Almost Uncirculated condition. This coin belongs to the long-running Lincoln Cent series, a staple of American pocket change that has captured the imagination of observers for generations. The copper composition of this piece has preserved its fine details, allowing us to appreciate the artistry of a bygone era. The front of the coin features a detailed profile bust of Abraham Lincoln, facing right. Above his portrait, the traditional motto reads "IN GOD WE TRUST", while the word "LIBERTY" stands to his left, and the date 1930 is stamped on the right. Just below the date, the small "D" mint mark indicates its origin at the Denver facility. On the reverse, the design is framed by two stylized ears of wheat, which curve around the central inscriptions.
