1932 Lincoln Cent BU (Red/Brown)

0.0000 troy oz 1932 Brilliant Unc

The 1932 Lincoln Cent represents a classic era in United States coinage. Struck in copper, this particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, displaying a distinct red and brown coloration that develops naturally on copper surfaces over time. The Philadelphia Mint produced this issue without a mint mark, leaving the space below the date clean and open. On the obverse, the coin features a detailed bust of Abraham Lincoln facing right. This portrait, created by designer Victor David Brenner, is accompanied by the familiar inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" arching above, "LIBERTY" to the left, and the date "1932" positioned to the right of the profile. The reverse of the coin showcases a minimalist and balanced layout. Two stylized ears of wheat frame the central inscriptions, which declare the denomination "ONE CENT" and the issuing nation "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Arching along the top rim is the traditional motto "E-PLURIBUS UNUM", completing a design that defined American pocket change for generations.
