This 1935 half dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint, commemorates the centennial of Texas independence. Crafted from 90 percent silver with a precious metal weight of 0.3617 troy ounces, the coin features a remarkably detailed design that captures the spirit of the era. The front of the coin displays a powerful eagle positioned in front of a large, five-pointed star, representing the Lone Star State. On the reverse, a winged figure of Victory is shown kneeling.
