This particular specimen is certified in Mint State 65 (MS-65), preserving its original details and surfaces just as they emerged from the coining presses over seven decades ago. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Thomas Jefferson. Surrounding his bust are the familiar inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST", alongside the 1950 date and the "D" mint mark representing the Denver facility.
