1952-D Jefferson Nickel BU

0.0000 troy oz 1952 Brilliant Unc

The 1952 Jefferson nickel struck at the Denver Mint offers a beautiful glimpse into mid-twentieth-century American coinage. Preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, this five-cent piece showcases the sharp details of a design that has become a familiar part of daily commerce, yet takes on a new life when viewed in its original, uncirculated state. On the obverse, a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson faces left. Surrounding his image are the classic American inscriptions of liberty and trust, alongside the 1952 production year. The Denver mint mark, indicated by a D, is located on the reverse side of the coin. The reverse features a detailed depiction of Monticello, the famous Virginia home of Thomas Jefferson. Below the estate, the denomination is spelled out as five cents, flanked by the national identification of the United States of America. Above the building, the traditional motto celebrating unity from many parts is clearly inscribed.
