1952 Jefferson Nickel BU

0.0000 troy oz 1952 Brilliant Unc

The 1952 Jefferson nickel is a classic representation of mid-century American coinage. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this five-cent piece is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, allowing observers to appreciate the crisp details of its original design just as it appeared when it first left the minting press. On the obverse, the coin displays a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. This side features the traditional national mottos, with "IN GOD WE TRUST" flanking the left border and "LIBERTY" accompanied by the 1952 date on the right. Turning the coin over reveals Monticello, Jefferson's historic Virginia estate, depicted in fine detail on the reverse. The legendary building is framed by the Latin motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" above and the denomination "FIVE CENTS" below, with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" anchoring the bottom edge of the design.
