0.0000 troy oz 1969 Brilliant Unc

Struck at the Denver Mint in 1969, this five-cent piece represents a classic era of United States coinage. Kept in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the coin retains its original luster, allowing observers to appreciate the fine details of its mid-twentieth-century design. The obverse features a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson, the nation's third president. Facing left, the portrait is flanked by the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the word LIBERTY, alongside the 1969 date and the D mint mark representing the Denver facility. The tiny initials FS also appear, identifying the designer Felix O. Schlag. On the reverse, the coin displays Monticello, Jefferson's famous Virginia estate. This detailed vignette of the historic home is surrounded by the traditional Latin motto, E PLURIBUS UNUM, positioned above the dome, while the denomination FIVE CENTS and the country name UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are struck below the building.
