1991 Lincoln Cent BU (Red)

0.0000 troy oz 1991 Brilliant Unc

The 1991 Lincoln Cent stands as a bright example of modern American pocket change, preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with its original red luster. This coin features a metal composition of 99.2 percent zinc with a thin outer plating of 0.8 percent copper, a formulation weighing exactly 2.5 grams. On the obverse side, the right-facing portrait of Abraham Lincoln is accompanied by the familiar inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY, alongside the 1991 year of manufacture. This classic bust was originally created by Victor David Brenner. The reverse side showcases the Lincoln Memorial, a design by Frank Gasparro that was minted continuously from 1959 to 2008. Above the detailed structure of the monument, the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM are clearly visible, while the denomination ONE CENT is featured below.
