0.0000 troy oz 1992 Brilliant Unc

Struck at the Denver Mint in 1992, this five-cent piece represents a classic era of modern United States coinage. Made from a copper alloy, the coin remains in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the sharp details of its original strike just as it looked when it left the coining press. The obverse of the coin features a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson, designed by Felix O. Schlag. Alongside the likeness of the president, the inscriptions read "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIBERTY", accompanied by the 1992 date and the "D" mint mark indicating its Denver origin. On the reverse, Schlag's design depicts Monticello, the historic Virginia estate of Thomas Jefferson. The home is rendered in fine detail, centered above its name "MONTICELLO". The traditional national mottos and designations surround the building, including "E PLURIBUS UNUM" at the top, with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination "FIVE CENTS" anchoring the bottom of the design.
