1994-D Jefferson Nickel BU
The 1994 Jefferson nickel struck at the Denver Mint offers a crisp look at one of America's most enduring coin designs. This copper nickel coin, preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcases the clean lines and sharp details that define the mid twentieth century aesthetic of United States coinage. On the obverse, a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson faces left. Accompanying his likeness are the inscriptions of liberty and national trust, rendered as "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST" alongside the 1994 date and the "D" mint mark representing the Denver facility. The reverse of the coin features a detailed depiction of Monticello, Jefferson's famous Virginia estate. The neoclassical plantation home is centered above the inscriptions "MONTICELLO," "FIVE CENTS," and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," with the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" arching gracefully over the dome of the historic structure.
