1995-P Jefferson Nickel BU

0.0000 troy oz 1995 Brilliant Unc

The 1995 Jefferson nickel, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, is a brilliant uncirculated example of one of America's most enduring coin designs. This five cent piece showcases a clean, sharp strike from a modern era of United States coinage, preserving the intricate details of the design just as it looked when it first emerged from the minting press. On the obverse, the coin displays a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. This side is framed by the traditional American inscriptions, including the national motto of trust and the word of freedom, alongside the 1995 date and the P mint mark representing Philadelphia. The reverse of the coin is dedicated to Monticello, the historic neoclassical estate that Jefferson designed and lived in. This detailed architectural vignette captures the dome and portico of the famous Virginia home. The reverse also bears the classic Latin motto meaning out of many, one, the name of the estate, the coin's face value, and the issuing country.
