2003-P Jefferson Nickel BU

0.0000 troy oz 2003 Brilliant Unc

The 2003 Jefferson nickel, struck at the Philadelphia mint, represents a long-standing tradition in American coinage. This five-cent piece is preserved in brilliant uncirculated condition, allowing the original luster and crisp details of the engraving to shine through clearly. On the obverse, a profile portrait of Thomas Jefferson faces left. The surrounding inscriptions include the word LIBERTY alongside the year 2003 and the P mint mark, indicating its origin in Philadelphia. The timeless national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST, is also clearly visible along the right border. The reverse of the coin showcases Monticello, the famous Virginia estate of Thomas Jefferson. The grand neoclassical building is depicted with sharp architectural lines. Arching above the estate is the Latin phrase E PLURIBUS UNUM, while the denomination FIVE CENTS and the issuing nation UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are elegantly placed below the home.
