2007 Lincoln Cent BU (Red)

0.0000 troy oz 2007 Brilliant Unc

The 2007 Lincoln Cent represents a late-era example of one of America's most enduring coin designs. Struck in Philadelphia, this brilliant uncirculated copper-plated zinc coin displays a vibrant red luster. The composition of the coin is primarily zinc, making up 99.2 percent of its structure, with a thin outer layer of 0.8 percent copper. The obverse features the iconic right-facing bust of Abraham Lincoln, a design created by Victor David Brenner. Legible inscriptions on this side include the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST, the word LIBERTY, and the 2007 year of issue. On the reverse, the coin features the Lincoln Memorial, a design by Frank Gasparro that was minted continuously from 1959 to 2008. The reverse inscriptions clearly display UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the denomination ONE CENT, and the traditional Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
