Struck at the San Francisco Mint, this modern coin is crafted from a copper-nickel alloy, composed of 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel. The coin is preserved in pristine Gem Proof condition, highlighting the sharp contrast and mirror-like finishes characteristic of the specialized proofing process. The reverse side of the coin showcases the historic Lincoln Bridge, a limestone structure dedicated in 1909 to mark the birth centennial of Abraham Lincoln. This scenic stone bridge is framed by the inscriptions Chickasaw, Oklahoma, and the year 2011, alongside the traditional national motto, E Pluribus Unum. On the obverse, the coin displays the familiar portrait of George Washington, accompanied by the S mint mark signifying its San Francisco origin.
