This impressive five-ounce silver coin represents the fifth issue from the 2012 America the Beautiful series. Struck in 0.999 fine silver, the coin has earned a high MS-69 certification, highlighting its exceptional condition and preservation. The reverse side showcases a Dall sheep standing before the majestic rise of Mount McKinley, the tallest peak on the North American continent. This protected landscape was first recognized as a national site in 1917, later expanding in 1980 to encompass more than six million acres of wilderness. The reverse is inscribed with the words Denali, Alaska, E Pluribus Unum, and the 2012 year of issue. On the obverse, the coin displays the classic portrait of George Washington. Surrounding this familiar likeness are the inscriptions United States of America, Liberty, In God We Trust, and the face value of Quarter Dollar.
