2013-D ATB Quarter Great Basin National Park BU
The 2013 Denver Mint release of the America the Beautiful series celebrates the rugged beauty of Great Basin National Park. This brilliant uncirculated quarter features a reverse design that highlights a resilient bristlecone pine tree growing amidst the rocky glacial moraines of the Nevada landscape. The reverse is inscribed with the words GREAT BASIN, NEVADA, 2013, and the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. On the obverse, the familiar portrait of George Washington faces left. Surrounding the first president are the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the denomination, QUARTER DOLLAR. A small D mint mark is also present, indicating its production at the Denver Mint.
