2014-D ATB Quarter Arches National Park BU
The 2014 Denver Mint quarter transports observers to the high desert of Utah, celebrating the breathtaking geology of Arches National Park. This coin, preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, is part of the celebrated America the Beautiful series, which honors the most significant natural and historic sites across the United States. On the reverse side, the design showcases the famous Delicate Arch, a massive freestanding natural sandstone arch that frames the distant La Sal Mountains. The composition captures the rugged beauty of the Utah landscape. The inscriptions on this side include the name of the park, "ARCHES," the state name "UTAH," the year "2014," and the traditional national motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The obverse features the familiar portrait of George Washington. Surrounding the first president's likeness are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the denomination "QUARTER DOLLAR." A small "D" mint mark indicates this copper-nickel clad coin was struck at the Denver Mint.
