The 1821 Capped Bust Quarter represents an early era of American coinage, originating from the Philadelphia Mint. Struck in 0.8924 fine silver, this twenty-five cent piece is recognized as a scarce survivor from the early nineteenth century, containing 0.17875 troy ounces of pure silver. The obverse features a classic left-facing profile of Lady Liberty wearing her draped cap, which is inscribed with her name.
