1934-D Washington Quarter Good/VG
The 1934 Washington quarter represents an early year in one of America's most enduring coin series. Struck at the Denver Mint, this twenty five cent piece is composed of 90 percent silver, containing approximately 0.1788 troy ounces of the precious metal. Even in a worn state, graded from Good to Very Good, the coin retains the essential character of its historic artwork. On the obverse, the profile of George Washington faces left, accompanied by the inscriptions of liberty and the national motto. This portrait was created by sculptor John Flanagan. The reverse features a bold heraldic eagle with its wings spread wide, clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch beneath its talons, symbolizing both strength and peace.
