0.1788 troy oz .900 1936 Almost Unc

The 1936 Washington quarter, minted in San Francisco, represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck in 90% silver, this piece contains 0.17875 troy ounces of precious metal. Preserved in Almost Uncirculated condition, the coin retains much of its original luster and detail, allowing observers to appreciate the artistry of its mid-century design. Created by sculptor John Flanagan, the coin's obverse showcases the left-facing profile of George Washington. This portrait is accompanied by the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "1936". The reverse side presents a powerful heraldic eagle with its wings spread wide, gripping a bundle of arrows and an olive branch beneath its talons. Surrounding this central motif are the legends "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "QUARTER DOLLAR", and the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
