0.1788 troy oz .900 1936 Brilliant Unc

In 1936, the San Francisco mint struck a classic piece of American pocket change that remains a favorite for its striking imagery. This twenty-five cent piece, minted in 90 percent pure silver, contains approximately 0.1788 troy ounces of the precious metal. Kept in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the coin retains its original luster, allowing the fine details of the engraving to stand out just as they did when the coin first left the coining press. The front of the coin features a sharp, left-facing portrait of George Washington, a design created by sculptor John Flanagan. Accompanying the likeness of the nation's first president is the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the date of 1936. On the other side, Flanagan's reverse design presents a powerful heraldic eagle. The bird is depicted with outspread wings, clutching a bundle of arrows in its talons above a pair of olive branches, symbolizing both strength and peace.
