0.1788 troy oz .900 1943 Almost Unc

Struck during a pivotal year of the mid-century era, this twenty-five cent piece represents a classic era of United States coinage. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin is composed of 90% silver, containing approximately 0.1788 troy ounces of the precious metal. It survives today in an impressive Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its original engraving. The obverse side displays the familiar left-facing profile of George Washington, a design created by sculptor John Flanagan. Accompanying the portrait is the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," along with the 1943 date of manufacture. On the reverse, a dramatic heraldic eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide. The eagle grips a bundle of arrows in its talons, positioned above a pair of olive branches, symbolizing both strength and peace. The traditional Latin phrase "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is inscribed above the eagle, while the country name "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination "QUARTER DOLLAR" frame the powerful central image.
