It survives today in a condition ranging from Very Good to Extremely Fine, offering a tangible look at mid-century circulating currency. The coin features the familiar profile of George Washington on its obverse, a design created by John Flanagan. Accompanying the portrait are the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "1952".
