0.1808 troy oz .900 1955 MS-65 (PCGS)

This mid-century silver quarter, minted in Denver during 1955, represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck with a silver purity of 0.900, the coin contains 0.1808 troy ounces of precious metal. It has been certified in Mint State 65 (MS-65) condition, indicating a well-preserved specimen that retains its original luster and sharp details from the Denver Mint. The design, created by John Flanagan, features the left-facing profile of George Washington on the obverse, accompanied by the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "1955". The reverse displays a powerful heraldic eagle clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing both strength and peace. Above the eagle, the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is visible, while the denomination "QUARTER DOLLAR" and the country name "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" frame the design. Collectors can identify its origin by the "D" mint mark located on the reverse side.
