Out of a total mintage of 669,384 proof quarters struck that year, this coin has been graded in an exceptional Proof 67 condition, showcasing the sharp details and mirrored fields characteristic of mid-century proof manufacturing. The obverse of the coin features the familiar profile of George Washington, accompanied by the word LIBERTY and the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST, with the date 1956 positioned at the bottom.
