1993-P Washington Quarter BU
In 1993, the Philadelphia Mint produced this twenty five cent piece, showcasing a design that has become a staple of United States pocket change. Struck in a brilliant uncirculated finish, this coin retains its original luster, allowing the fine details of the engraving to stand out clearly. The metal composition of this modern issue consists of an outer layer of copper and nickel bonded directly to a core of pure copper. The front of the coin features the classic left facing profile of George Washington, the first president of the United States. Accompanying his portrait are the inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and the date 1993. On the reverse, a powerful heraldic eagle is depicted gripping a bundle of arrows alongside an olive branch, symbolizing both strength and peace. The traditional mottos and country identifiers, including UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination QUARTER DOLLAR, are clearly struck around the central eagle motif.
