1 oz Silver Round - Barber Design

1.0000 troy oz .999 N/A

This one ounce silver round pays tribute to a classic era of American coinage with a design originally created by Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber. First approved by President Benjamin Harrison in November 1891, this artwork circulated on dimes, quarters, and half dollars from 1892 to 1916. Today, the imagery is preserved on a modern round crafted from 0.999 fine silver, featuring a reeded edge and a contrast between its frosted details and a prooflike background. The front of the round depicts the right-facing profile of Liberty, adorned with the traditional motto "In God We Trust" and surrounded by thirteen stars. A subtle "SMI" mark on this side indicates its production by Sunshine Minting. On the reverse, a heraldic eagle clutches an olive branch and thirteen arrows, accompanied by the scroll reading "E Pluribus Unum." This side also displays the round's weight and purity, marking it as one troy ounce of fine silver.
