The 1874 Liberty Seated quarter represents a fascinating era in United States coinage, minted in 90 percent pure silver with a total silver content of 0.1788 troy ounces. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this 25 cent piece showcases a classic design that circulated widely during the late nineteenth century.
