Dating back to the late nineteenth century, this ten cent piece represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted in Philadelphia during 1890, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver, which equates to about 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. Its preservation is noted as Extra Fine, allowing observers to appreciate the fine details of its nineteenth-century craftsmanship. The obverse features a classic depiction of Liberty in a seated position. In her right hand, she supports a shield, while her left hand holds a staff topped with a liberty cap.
