Designed by Charles Barber, the coin represents a classic era of United States currency, circulating widely during a time of great national transition. On the obverse, the design showcases Lady Liberty facing right, adorned with a Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath. While the word 'Liberty' is not visible on this specimen, it retains a full rim, though the outer edge may appear slightly weak in areas. The reverse of the coin features a traditional wreath that encircles the denomination 'ONE DIME'.
