The 1894 Barber dime represents a fascinating era of American silver coinage, minted at the historic New Orleans facility. Struck in 90 percent silver, this ten cent piece carries the distinctive 'O' mint mark, signaling its origin in the American South during the late nineteenth century. Despite showing the honest wear of a coin graded in Good condition, the essential elements of its classic late Victorian design remain visible to the curious observer.
