Struck in 1894 at the historic New Orleans Mint, this silver dime represents a classic era of United States coinage. Composed of 90 percent silver with a precious metal weight of 0.0715 troy ounces, the coin is a tangible survivor from the late nineteenth century. This particular specimen is preserved in Extra Fine details, though it may bear signs of its long journey through time, such as cleaning, minor scratches, or surface wear.
