The 1895 Barber Half Dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage, minted in Philadelphia with a total production of 1,834,338 pieces. Struck in 90% silver, this fifty-cent piece contains 0.3617 troy ounces of the precious metal. This particular specimen is certified in About Uncirculated 53 condition, preserving the fine details of the original artistry. Designed by Charles Barber, the obverse of the coin features a dignified profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap adorned with a laurel wreath, surrounded by the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "1895" below. The reverse displays a powerful heraldic eagle with outstretched wings, bearing a shield on its chest. In its talons, the eagle grasps an olive branch and a cluster of arrows, while holding a banner inscribed with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak.
