Struck at the San Francisco Mint at the turn of the twentieth century, this 1903 silver half dollar showcases the enduring artistry of Charles Barber. Having circulated through early twentieth-century commerce, it now displays the honest wear characteristic of a Fine grade, preserving the essential details of its original engraving. The obverse side presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty. She is depicted wearing a laurel wreath and a Phrygian cap, with the word LIBERTY clearly inscribed upon her headband.
