This 1903 silver half dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint, represents a classic era of United States coinage. Minted with a silver purity of 90 percent, the coin contains 0.3575 troy ounces of precious metal. Despite showing the honest wear of a coin graded Good, the essential elements of its historic design remain visible, offering a tangible connection to the turn of the twentieth century. Designed by Charles Barber, the obverse of the coin showcases a profile of Lady Liberty.
