Struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1904, this ten-cent piece offers a tangible connection to early twentieth-century American commerce. Made from 90 percent silver, the coin contains approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of precious metal. Decades of active circulation have left their mark on this piece, which is graded in Almost Good condition, showing the honest wear of a coin that passed through countless hands. The obverse side, designed by Charles Barber, displays the profile of Lady Liberty. On this heavily circulated example, she wears a Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath, with the outer rim showing significant wear. The reverse side features a traditional wreath that encircles the denomination of ONE DIME, with both the reverse rim and the central details showing a heavily worn profile.
