0.1788 troy oz .900 1905 Very Good

The 1905 Barber Quarter represents a fascinating era of United States coinage. Struck in Philadelphia from 90 percent silver, this twenty five cent piece contains approximately 0.17875 troy ounces of precious metal. It stands as a testament to the enduring artistry of Charles Barber, who designed both sides of the coin. On the obverse, a classical representation of Lady Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath. The reverse features a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings, holding a shield, a banner, an olive branch, and arrows, surrounded by the country's name and the denomination.
