This 1905 silver dime, carrying the 'O' mint mark of the historic New Orleans Mint, offers a tangible connection to the early twentieth century. Minted in 90 percent silver with a metal weight of 0.0715 troy ounces, this ten-cent piece belongs to the celebrated Barber series, named after its creator Charles Barber. The obverse features Liberty facing right, adorned with a laurel wreath and a Phrygian cap. Time and circulation have left their mark, as the obverse rim shows noticeable wear.
