Struck in 90 percent silver, this 1906 half dollar is a compelling representative of the long-running Barber series. Minted at the Denver facility, the coin survives in Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its original engraving. The coin contains 0.3575 troy ounces of precious metal, offering a substantial weight and presence that reflects the circulating currency of the early twentieth century. The obverse presents a classic depiction of Lady Liberty, styled by designer Charles Barber. She wears a laurel wreath atop her head, paired with a traditional Phrygian cap. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed above her portrait, while the year 1906 is anchored at the bottom. On the reverse, a heraldic eagle stretches its wings wide, protecting a shield on its chest. In its beak, the eagle holds a ribbon bearing the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
