The obverse of the coin displays a profile of Lady Liberty. She is depicted wearing a laurel wreath atop a Phrygian cap, with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" positioned above her head and the year 1906 struck at the bottom. On the reverse, a heraldic eagle stretches its wings, bearing a protective shield on its chest. In its beak, the eagle holds a banner, while its talons grasp both an olive branch and a bundle of arrows. The surrounding inscription reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "HALF DOLLAR".
