This Barber dime, composed of 90% silver with a precious metal content of 0.0715 troy ounces, carries the distinct 'S' mint mark, signaling its West Coast origin during the Pre-1933 era. The obverse of this ten-cent piece, designed by Charles Barber, presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty. She is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a laurel wreath. Surrounding her image are the bold inscriptions of the nation's name, 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA', along with the year of issue, 1906, anchored at the bottom. On the reverse, the coin features a simple yet elegant design where a detailed wreath frames the denomination. The words 'ONE DIME' are placed prominently in the center, encircled by the foliage.
