Struck in 1907, this United States ten cent piece represents a classic era of American silver coinage. Composed of 90 percent silver, containing 0.0715 troy ounces of the precious metal, the dime is a tangible survivor from the early twentieth century. This specific specimen survives in Extra Fine condition, preserving the crisp details of its century old artistry. The obverse presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty, who wears a laurel wreath atop her head along with a traditional Phrygian cap. The word LIBERTY is visible on her headband, framed by the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the year 1907. On the reverse, the coin features a detailed wreath that encircles the face value, ONE DIME.
