1907-D Barber Dime Fine

In 1907, the Denver Mint struck this ten-cent piece from 90 percent silver, contributing a classic design to American circulation during the early twentieth century. This coin, preserved in Fine condition, carries 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal and belongs to the celebrated Barber series, named after its creator, Charles Barber. On the obverse, Lady Liberty is depicted facing right, wearing a laurel wreath and a Phrygian cap. The year 1907 is stamped clearly at the bottom, while the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" frame her profile. While the rim details on these circulated pieces can sometimes show signs of wear or appear weak, the central design elements remain distinct. The reverse side of the coin simplifies its message, placing the denomination "ONE DIME" directly in the center. This text is encircled by a detailed wreath, with the Denver "D" mint mark positioned at the very bottom, marking its origin from the Colorado facility over a century ago.
